My career in the bead world started in 1994 when I started working at Turtle Island Beads in Baraboo Wisconsin. I worked in several locations with this store for 10 + years. I taught thousands of customers to bead and expand their knowledge of beads & techniques.

My career in the bead world started in 1994 when I started working at Turtle Island Beads in Baraboo Wisconsin. I worked in several locations with this store for 10 + years. I taught thousands of customers to bead and expand their knowledge of beads & techniques.
I returned to college for Art Therapy and moved to Madison WI. I worked for two bead stores in Madison which are no longer here. I taught in these stores and in South Central WI.
- I was a part of Madison Art Guild for years as well as the secretary for 2 years.
- I taught at and was on the Board of Shake Rag Alley in Mineral Point WI.
- I have entered the Madison Art Glass & Bead Show's Bead Challenge for several years. I have won and got runner up another year.
- I created a beading program for Carbone Cancer Center in UW Hospital system for their Art in Medicine Program

Creating is my meditation and therapy so I always have other projects going. I find such joy in playing with watercolors, the calming effect of doodling, and the self discovery found in collage.
My passion is creating and my purpose is to share what I have learned which is why I have focused on teaching the magic of the creative process.

I have self published two books on Amazon: Creatively Through Cancer and I am currently working on another workbook that focuses on Self-Care Creative Goddess Style. That sounds yummy doesn't it?
